Agreed Ryan...I think after a while even the name will become more associated with Mac vs. sanitary napkins :) Apple knows what they're doing. I see so many blogs and such talking about what it doesn't have. Wonder if they are being paid by the competition? ;)

From a business sense, why would Apple put certain things that are repetitive and then knock out their other product sales? Or new iPad sales with 2nd gen? I brought the iPhone 1st gen and was fine with updates until the 3Gs and then I moved. That was like 2 years later and it was time for a new phone. And the flash issue? If Apple does it the way I think they will we won't remember what Flash was...just like Window Media Player. It will all be Quicktime!

I agree with you 100% I think that this will become one of those products we didn't think we needed until it's huge and everyone wants one. The iPhone when it first came out (without the apps) basically everyone I know said who wants to spend that much money on a phone just because it can go on the internet and it's so small and so many complaints now they all have one or planning on it for the 4g. But it slowly got popular pop culture did it's thing Apple made some adjustments and now it defines them. I will be getting an iPad I am sure of it I read a LOT of online media and having my laptop resting on my laps for hours can get like you said very uncomfortable. I will however wait (if I can be patient) for the second generation, but I am so excited to have all of my university books in one little iPad (hopefully in-book editing and the ability to attach notes to specific text will be added in the second gen at LEAST to textbooks)
