Exploring Nassau Bahamas- The Video Blog
Our Nassau Bahamas trip was a great one filled right up to my sensory brim. So much so that it took me over a week after returning home to stop dreaming about Nassau or to stop waking up and thinking I was still there. Of course I can’t wait to return to see more of the sites, swim in the exquisite and clear turquoise waters, and eat the vegan foods I knew just had to be there. Though not Jamaica, ital is alive and well in Nassau. You just have to look for it and uncover its riches when modified for vegans.
The culture of Nassau, its British Colonial history, its quirky energy, and the influx of the necessity of tourism, create a place that can yield amazing experiences. I was there 10 days and a few of those experiences I’ve touched on in the video blog posted below. Parts of my travel experiences are being worked on for publication in a national magazine, so please send good juju my way and keep your fingers crossed for that to go well! Next blog post, I will address the issue of swimming with sharks, something you’ll see a piece of in the video. I’ll be posing some questions to The Vegan Gods about this. Was I a bad vegan to do it? Will my V-Card be taken away? We’ll see. But, for now I think you’ll enjoy this video slice of my Nassau adventure. Stay tuned for more!
